Chairman Yan Shengjun Meets with Argentine Ambassador Marcelo Suárez Salvia

On the afternoon of 24th June 2024, Chairman Yan Shengjun met with Mr Marcelo Suárez Salvia, Ambassador of Argentina, and his delegation at CNTY’s headquarters in Hai’an. The two sides carried out extensive and in-depth exchanges on the all-round cooperation in the field of environmental protection and new energy.

At the meeting, Chairman Yan expressed a warm welcome to the visit of Ambassador and his delegation. He said that CNTY has accumulated rich experience in the field of environmental protection and new energy, and has deepened its global strategic layout with a large number of overseas projects. We have fostered the development of integrated projects combining wind, solar, storage and production of hydrogen, ammonia and methanol, contributing to the global transition to green shipping and land transport. CNTY is happy to bring its technological, capital and management strengths to Argentina's economic and social development, and seek extensive cooperation with Argentina in the fields of environmental protection and new energy.

Ambassador Marcelo Suárez Salvia expressed his heartfelt thanks to Chairman Yan for his warm reception. He said that a large number of highly valuable scientific and technological innovations have led the international development for CNTY in different fields. CNTY also has great potential to contribute to the development of Argentina. Argentina is in a new period of economic reform and will introduce a series of policies to encourage foreign investments. The Embassy is very willing to support and help CNTY expand business in Argentina.

The Argentine Republic, located in the south-east of South America, with the Atlantic Ocean to the east and Antarctica across the sea to the south, has a land area of 2,780,400 square kilometres and a population of 46,650,000 people; it is a federal presidential republic consisting of 23 provinces and the federal capital, Buenos Aires. It is a strong economy in Latin America, with a dynamic agricultural sector and a well-developed manufacturing industry.
